Dr. Melissa Jones earned her PhD from the University of Maryland in Counseling Psychology and has worked as a professor and consultant for 15 years. She has used her expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods to study diversity and gender dynamics, interpersonal relationships, and how people and organizations create, measure, and evaluate meaningful and sustainable change.  She has worked for 15 years to train therapists and educators on the importance of culturally competent clinical and educational practices. Dr. Jones is a popular public speaker on such issues as sexual assault, feminism, and women’s career development.



Dr. Mica McGriggs earned a PhD in Counseling Psychology and went on to complete a post doctoral fellowship at Columbia University. Over the years Dr. Mica has worked as a consultant on issues of diversity and inclusion at the organizational level. Her unique training both as a clinician and researcher has enabled her to build a consulting model that harnesses both the creativity of innovation and the effectiveness of best practice. Dr. Mica has worked with a variety of top leaders from CEO’s of corporations, to Executive Directors of Non-Profits, to government Officials (including Police Chiefs) on issues of diversity and sustainable inclusion. Dr. Mica has contributed widely to the academic and public discourse on the intersections of race, gender, and religion/spirituality and has had the opportunity to have her work featured in media outlets including NPR, CNN, Teen Vogue, Fusion, CBS news, The Salt Lake Tribune, Huffington Post, News Week, and Seattle PI among others.



Amber has her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah where she gained expertise in Diversity and multicultural topics. Amber continues to research these topics as a member of the Diversity & Well-being lab at the University of Utah. She has written multiple papers on multicultural topics, including papers on the topic of how to engage white people in teaching about power and privilege. She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Utah and has taught classes on Gender Studies, Identity & Inclusion, and Multiculturalism. Amber's past consultation work has been working with school districts in helping teachers and administrators understand themselves better to create more inclusive policies for students and families.
